What is JamQuote?
JamQuote is a front office for plumbing and electrical shops with one to five trucks. It texts back every missed call within a minute, drafts quotes from customer photos using your own price book, books jobs into open time, sends reminders, and gets you paid by text into your own Stripe account.
How much does JamQuote cost?
Solo is $49 a month for one person, Crew is $99 for up to five, and Pro is $149 for up to ten. Every plan includes text-back, photo quotes, scheduling, reminders, pay by text and review requests. Month to month, no contract, no setup fee, no per-seat charges inside a plan.
Can I use JamQuote today?
Not yet. JamQuote is in early access and opens to shops in waves. Join the waitlist with your email and we will send you an invitation when there is room. Already invited? Sign in from the link at the top of any page.
Does the AI send prices to my customers on its own?
No. The assistant drafts a range from your own price book and waits for you to tap Approve, unless the job matches a range you approved ahead of time. Gas work, panel work and anything it cannot see clearly get a site-visit offer instead of a price.
Do I need a new phone number?
You get a business number with JamQuote, with the area code you ask for. Put it on your truck, your website and your Google listing. Customers call and text it, and when you miss a call, the caller gets your text-back from that same number, so the conversation stays in one place.
Where does the money go when a customer pays?
Into your own Stripe account, then to your bank on Stripe's schedule. JamQuote never holds your money and adds no markup to card processing: you pay Stripe's standard fees on your own account. You connect Stripe once from Settings, in a few minutes.
Will my customers know they are texting an AI?
Yes. The assistant always says it is an AI assistant for your shop, and it hands the conversation to you whenever a customer asks for a person. Emergencies such as a gas smell, sparks or active flooding go straight to you.
Is JamQuote only for plumbers and electricians?
For now, yes. Its services, intake questions, photo prompts and trade fields are built for plumbing and electrical work, from water heaters and drain clears to panel upgrades and EV chargers. Shops in other trades can join the waitlist, but the starter price book will not fit them yet.
Can I cancel any time?
Yes. Every plan is month to month with no contract and no cancellation fee. You can export your customers, jobs, quotes and texts as a file from Settings at any time, and deleting your account removes your data from our systems; backups age out within 30 days.
Does it work on my phone?
Yes. JamQuote is built for an owner who runs the shop from a phone: approving a quote, reading a customer's thread and checking tomorrow's jobs are each a tap or two. It runs in the browser on iPhone and Android, and on a desktop for the office.
