Privacy policy
JamQuote keeps what a shop needs to answer, quote, book and bill its customers, and nothing it does not. We never sell personal data or use it for advertising. You can export your data or delete your account from Settings at any time. This page says what we collect, why, for how long, and who helps us process it.
Updated
This policy has not yet been reviewed by counsel. It describes what the product does today and will change before launch if counsel asks.
Who we are
JamQuote is operated by Sanford Labs LLC, a single-member Michigan limited liability company ("we"). For anything on this page, use the contact form and choose "Something else".
Two kinds of people
Shop owners and their team use JamQuote; we are responsible for their data. Their customers call, text and pay the shop throughJamQuote; the shop decides what to keep about them, and we process it on the shop's behalf.
What we collect, and why

This website
- It sets no cookies and uses no browser storage for analytics. Page views are counted by PostHog in cookieless mode, through this site's own address, and a visitor is never identified.
- The waitlist form sends your email, what you would use JamQuote for (if you say), the page you came from and campaign tags. The contact form sends your name, email, topic and message. Both go to the Sanford Labs platform that runs our forms, with your IP address for abuse protection, and are kept until you ask us to delete them.
- Both forms use Cloudflare Turnstile to stop spam. Cloudflare sees your IP address and browser while it checks.
Who helps us
- OVH: hosting, in data centers we rent servers in.
- Cloudflare: DNS, spam checks on our forms, and storage for nightly database backups.
- Postmark: email.
- PostHog: product and website analytics.
- Stripe: subscription billing, and payments into each shop's own account.
- Anthropic: the AI that drafts quotes and, later, answers calls. It receives the conversation and photos it needs for that task.
- A phone and text provider, once JamQuote launches, for the business numbers.
Logs
Server logs are kept 90 days. Passwords, tokens, keys and cookies are removed from them, and text message bodies and phone numbers never reach them.
Your choices
- Export: download everything about you and the shops you can see, as one file, from Settings, Security. Ready within minutes, kept 7 days.
- Delete: delete your account from the same place. Shops where you are the only member are deleted with all their data; you leave the others. Backups age out within 30 days.
- Customers of a shop: ask the shop. Replying STOP to any text from a shop stops all further texts from that shop's number.
Children
JamQuote is for businesses and is not meant for anyone under 18.
